Brief Intro
I am now an assistant professor at Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University.
I mainly work in Lightwave for Intelligence and Telecommunication (LIT) I use photonic and electronic techniques to solve problems in telecommunication, sensing, information technology and others.
Prior to that, I was a Research Scientist in Optical Communications Laboratory at Centre of Optics, Photonics and Laser (COPL) in Université Laval, Quebec City, Canada, where I still hold adjunct professorship. I co-supervise a Ph.D student with Prof. Leslie Rusch, who is IEEE Fellow, Optica Fellow, and Canadian research chair.
I obtained my Ph.D degree in optical communication from Department of Information Engieering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I studied under the supervision of Prof. Calvin Chan, an Optica Fellow.
